Big Foe Nation is a movement driven by hip hop artist and actor Fode Bangoura also known as Big Foe, to promote, preserve and perpetuate a conception of Ideal Judgment by way of multimedia presentations.

We personify the self actualization demonstrated by the slave boy of Plato's dialogue of Meno who discovered in his own mind how to lawfully double the square. Our movement is founded on the power of an idea, and on the beauty of that idea's power over the improvement of human life and thus implicitly life generally, across time.

our Story…

The path leading to the creation of Big Foe Nation was by no means a direct one. For much of my life my sole commitment was to artist expression, as actor and as a recording artist.

Confounded by the needless Iraq war and the lack of accountability in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, I was motivated to the pursuit of a competent understanding of the history of the development and governance of society, in order to answer and simple question; WHY?

By 2012 I was posting a series of videos called Shit You Need To Know (SYNTK) where I was the first to expose Canada’s Financial Administration ACT (FAA) and it’s consequences.

At the times I was playing the part of a detective. I would seek out the information relentlessly consolidate it and then put it on record, like I did with the changing polices on Transfer payments and how that would effect healthcare in Canada.

But as the divisiveness of the times increased my framework was exposed as insufficient, inadequate and more or less incompetent.

Up until that time I thought there were a series of facts I could collect, that once possessed and distributed would motivate monumental changes for the good, but this was a well-intentioned naive delusion.

As the partisanship escalated in contentious territory I found that I could not contribute positively to the conversation and I had no idea what could, so I went silent.

It was in this silent period that Big Foe Nation was born. I studied my way from not incompetence in long division to competence in Calculus, a switched my focus from individual facts to the evolution of ideas.

In exploration of Plato’s Dialogue of Gorgias, I discovered not only the greatest and most beauty defense of the good, but also a unifying set of universal principles capable of defeating any attack on the prosperity of humanity and the general welfare.

As result of a journey marked by many notable success, as well as periods of defeat and even disillusion, a way forward emerged in the form of a powerful method of judgment. This method, inspired by Plato’s dialogue of Gorgias, is the founding principle of Big Foe Nation.

Our Strength

On our square we take our stand, accepting as Socrates would, the challenge, the criticism and vitriol of any who would seek to overthrow what we have lawfully discovered, and hold to as knowledge to be lawfully built upon. In it we have discovered a unity that exists beyond all the variations and changes that have appeared in the doctrines of all just action across time.

This unifying concept composed of three principles of Ideal Judgment if adhered to, keeps every scientist humble, prevents every legislator from becoming a sophist, and every teacher of philosophy from becoming a persuader toward corruption and a flatterer.
